The 2008 Championship will take place at Royal Troon from Thursday 24 – Sunday 27 July, 2008. It will witness the highest quality field including the return of the defending Champion, Tom Watson, together with former European Tour greats such as Sandy Lyle, Bernhard Langer and Ian Woosnam. The Championship will also attract the leading players from the US Champions Tour such as Mark O’Meara, 2006 Champion Loren Roberts, Gary Player and Tom Kite, together with the finest players from the European Seniors Tour such as Ayrshire’s own Sam Torrance, European Number One, Carl Mason and former Ryder Cup players Mark James, Jose Rivero and Gordon Brand.

Advance booking for the event will close at 5pm on Tuesday 8 July, tickets purchased from Friday 4 July until Tuesday 8 July may be purchased but will only be available for collection at the ticket collection point oniste at the venue.
